Rome travel vlog/diary part 1 (Villa Borghese Gardens, Tiber banks and rome by night)
Buon venerdì mie piccoli raggi di sole,
quelli fra di voi che mi seguono su Facebook o Instagram sapranno che recentemente io e Daniele abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni a Roma, l'occasione da festeggiare era il nostro secondo anniversario di matrimonio ed è per noi tradizione farlo con un viaggio.
Il post di oggi ed i tre successivi raccontano attraverso vlogs ed immagini le nostre avventure romane, perciò salite a bordo e seguiteci fra parchi, mostre, chiese, mercati e molto altro!

the ones of you who follow me on Facebook or Instagram know that Daniele and I recently spent 4 days in Rome, we went there to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, as it is tradition for us to spend it travelling.
In today's post and the following three I will share with you, through vlogs and pictures, our roman adventures, so jump on board and follow us while we stroll around parks, visit exhibitions, churches, markets and much more!
Il paesaggio che gradualmente si trasforma fuori dal finestrino, l'Italia che scorre davanti agli occhi, le città, le stazioni, i campi di grano, le colline morbide, i fiumi, le strade, è il fascino di un viaggio in treno, il privilegio di poter osservare senza fretta, assaporare i dettagli.
Pensavo a questo mentre il treno ci portava verso Roma.
The landscape gradually changing outside the window, the beauty of Italy unfolding, the cities, the stations, the fields, the soft hills, the rivers, the streets. It's the glam of a train journey, the privilege of enjoying the view, with no hurry, just letting the details soak in.
That's what I thought while the train was travelling towards Rome.
Pedalare a Villa Borghese in una giornata di sole, quando il parco offre il meglio di sè, lontani dal traffico, lontani da tutto.
Riding a rikshaw in a sunny day in Villa Borghese, when the gardens are at their best, far from the traffic, far from everything.
E all'improvviso, come un palcoscenico, si apre la veduta di Roma dal Pincio...
And suddently, like on a stage, the view of Rome from the Pincio...
Quando il sole cala e la città si illumina, ogni statua, ogni chiesa, ogni piazza diventa magica.
When the sun sets and the city lights are on, every statue, every church, ever piazza is pure magic.

Il paesaggio che gradualmente si trasforma fuori dal finestrino, l'Italia che scorre davanti agli occhi, le città, le stazioni, i campi di grano, le colline morbide, i fiumi, le strade, è il fascino di un viaggio in treno, il privilegio di poter osservare senza fretta, assaporare i dettagli.
Pensavo a questo mentre il treno ci portava verso Roma.
