30 days of Christmas: day 2 (Frosty & chilly hand made Christmas card)

  DAY 2 : FROSTY & CHILLY CHRISTMAS CARD

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti al secondo giorno della serie 30 days of Christmas!
Per la mia prima card natalizia ho scelto un layout semplice e moderno, nelle tonalità dell'azzurro e del viola. Mi piaceva l'idea di allontanarmi dai classici colori natalizi e sperimentare qualcosa di diverso.

Hi and welcome to the second day of the 30 days of Christmas serie!
For my very first Christmas card of this year I chose a simple and modern layout in the shades of light blue and purple. I liked the idea of leave the classic christmas colours and experiment something different.

Partendo da un cartoncino avana 13,5 x 9.5 cm ho creato 4 livelli sovrapposti, sul primo ho incollato una serie di frasi natalizie (ricavate da un patterned paper della collezione Winter wishes to Echo park) ed ho applicato il cordino. Sul secondo livello ho creato un banner utilizzando un cartoncino decorato (dalla stessa collezione delle scritte) che ho inserito su sticker dimensionale.
Sul terzo livello ho incollato la decorazione su acetato e sull'ultimo livello ho inserito la rosetta e la scritta chilly.
Ho rifinito la card tracciando una linea tratteggiata con penna fel bianca sui controni.
In abbinamento alla card ho scelto un' adorabile busta di Maya Roads.

Starting with a 5.3x3.7 inches kraft card I created 4 layers, on the first one I adhered some christmas statements (cut from a Echo Park Winter wishes patterned paper) and I wrapped around the purple twine. On the second layer I created a banner using a patterned paper from the same colelction and I placed it on dimensional stickers.
On the third layer I added a clear ephemera and on the last layer I adhered the rosette and the chilly tag.
I finished the card by tracing a stiched line with white gel pen on the edges.
To match the card I chose a lovely Maya Road kraft envelop.
