Iconic figures of the 20th century: Audrey Hepburn accessories
Buon mercoledì a tutti, ritorna la seria dedicata alle figure iconiche del 20° secolo e la parure di oggi è ispirata ad Audrey Hepburn che con la sua eleganza ed il suo carisma ha ispirato migliaia di donne in tutto il mondo.
Good morning and welcome to a new post from the serie "Iconic figures of the 20th century", today's parure is inspired by Audrey Hepburn who inspired with her charisma and elegance thousend of women worldwide.
Per rendere omaggio a questa splendida attrice ho realizzato un paio di orecchini tondi color argento anticato, un anello ed una collana di forma quadrata.
To celebrate this wonderfull actress I created a pair of round vntage silver earrings and a squared ring and necklace pendant.
Lo sguardo è sicuramente uno dei tratti distinitivi della Hepburn, per questo ho scelto un'immagine poco conosciuta, ma molto rappresentativa, nella quale gli occhi spiccano su uno sfondo bianco che illumina e dissolve il resto del volto.
Ho utilizzato un pendente quadrato con copertura in vetro che da risalto all'immagine e conferisce alla collana un look minimale ad effetto.
The glance is one of Audrey distinguishing features, that's why I chose this picture, not much known but really representative. The eyes stand out from the total white of the background which tends to dissolve the rest of the face.
I matched a delicate chain with a sqaured pendant to bring the attention to the image and to preserve the minimal look of the whole serie.
Ho creato l'anello utilizzando un base quadrata color argento ripetendo lo stile della collana, in modo che i due accessori possano abbinarsi perfettamente.
In questo caso ho scelto un'immagine conosciutissima tratta dal film "Colanzione da Tiffany".
I created the ring using a squared silver coloured base repeating the style of the necklace so that the two accessory can perfectly match.
In this case I chose a very well known picture from "Breakfast at Tiffany's".
In ultimo ho realizzato degli orecchini utilizzando un piccolo pendente tondo con copertura in vetro bombato.
As last accessory I created a pair of earrings using a tiny round pendant with domed glass cover.
