Diario di bordo Estate '19 - Summer '19 diary - Giorni 18 e 19: Albe, tramonti, mare e saudade

Benvenuti all'ultimo capitolo del diario di bordo della mia Estate, il viaggio volge al termine...

Welcome to the last chapter of my Summer diary, the vacation is coming to an end...

Martedì 20 Agosto 2019 - Tuesday August 20th 2019

La saudade da fine vacanza è ormai un dato di fatto difficile da ignorare per questo sono decisa ad assaporare ogni attimo del nostro ultimo giorno. Con questo spirito mi sveglio all'alba per godermi il sorgere del sole per la prima volta da che siamo arrivati, perchè meglio tardi che mai è da sempre il mio motto 😅
Dopo una sessione mattutina di yoga scendiamo in spiaggia; io nuoto, osservo i pesci, ammiro il cielo punteggiato di nuvole, sempre con quella sensazione dolce amara nel cuore.
Che vi devo dire, ho una propensione al melodramma, perchè poi si tratta della mia spiaggia dell'infanzia, della mia casa al mare, non del Machu Picchu che chissà quando rivedrò, ma tant'è 😂

The end of the vacation saudade is hitting hard, so I face the last full day determined to enjoy every second of it. With this spirit I wake up bright and early to see the sun rise for the first time since we arrived, because better late than never is my life motto 😅
After a morning yoga session we head to the ebach where I swim, snorkel, look at the sky dotted with tiny clouds, always with my heart filled with that bitter sweet feeling.
What can I say? I have a predisposition for drama, because of course I know it's the same old beach, the same old house, not Machu Picchu where God knows when I would have to chance to go again...but that's how I am 😂

Il sole cala regalandoci un tramonto tinto di rosa che ci godiamo sorseggiando uno spritz sul lungo mare, finisce così la nostra ultima giornata domani si parte... 😥

The sun sets painting the sky in pink while we drink a spritz on the beach front and thus our last day ends ... 😥

Mercoledì 21 Agosto 2019 - Wednesday August 21rst 2019

E' tempo di fare le valigie, riassettare casa e salutare il mare 😭
Nonostante i dubbi iniziali sono stati 18 giorni perfetti, con un equilibrio di pieni e vuoti, di relax, km percorsi, panorami mozzafiato, sole, mare ed anche se ho trascorso mille estati in questi luoghi nessuna è stata come questa.
Quando alla partenza ti scende una lacrimuccia vuol dire che è stato tempo ben speso e così è stato!

It's time to pack, tidy the house and say goodbye to the sea 😭
Inpite of my doubts we had 18 amazing days with a perfect balance of full and empty, relax and exploration, sun and sea and even if I spent a thousend summers in this house, none of them was like this one.  When it's time to leavd and you shed a tear you know it has been well spent time 😊
