Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar children inspired jewelryset - Parure ispirata a Miss Peregrine e la casa dei ragazzi speciali
Ciao a tutti e benvenuti ad un nuovo appuntamento con i miei nuovi accessori della settimana!
La parure di oggi è ispirata ad un libro che ho molto amato "Miss Peregrine e la casa dei ragazzi speciali" di Ramson Riggs (dal quale è stato tratto anche il film di Tim Burton).
Mi sono innamorata di questo romanzo fin dalle prime righe per le atmosfere dark, la magia, il gusto retrò, i personaggi surreali e per le immagini bizzarre ed inquietanti contenute.
Così, come spesso mi accade quando mi innamoro di qualcosa, non ho saputo resistere alla tentazione di trasformare alcune delle immagini in bijoux.
Ho deciso di dedicare la parure di oggi a Miss Peregrine, la direttrice della casa per ragazzi speciali ed a Olive, la bambina più leggera dell'aria, ma non temete perchè la prossima settimana ho già pronta per voi un secondo set dedicato al mio personaggio preferito, Emma Bloom, la ragazza che riesce a creare fiamme dalle sua mani.
(P.S. se avete visto il film di Tim Burton probabilmente sarete un po' confusi perchè per qualche motivo i poteri di Olive ed Emma sono stati invertiti e modificati, mentre io faccio riferimento al libro).
In ogni caso ecco la mia prima parure, spero vi piacerà!
Hi and welcome to a new instalment about my new accessories of the week.
Today's set was inspired by a novel I fell in love with: Ramson Riggs "Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children" (which is also the base of the last Tim Burton's movie)
I loved the novel right from the beginning, because it's dark, magic, bizarre, the characters are unique, just like the story and the weird photos you can find inside the book.
So, as it often happens when I'm obsessed with something, I couldn't help using some of the pictures to create some accessories.
Today's set is inspired by Mis Peregrine, the headmistress and Olive, the girl lighter than air, but stay tuned because next week I'll share another set inspired by my favourite character: Emma Bloom, the girl you who can make fire with her hands,
(P.s. if you watched the movie you may be confused, that's because for some reasons Olive's and Emma's powers were switched and modified while I refer to the novel).
Anyway here is my first set, I hope you'll like it!
