Travel diary: #UKRoadtrip2016 Days 11 & 12: Living in a treehouse, exploring Arundel Castle and reaching Brighton

Ritorna l'appuntamento quotidiano con il nostro diario di viaggio dall'Inghilterra e nel post + vlog di oggi passeggeremo per la foresta attorno alla nostra casa sull'albero fino a raggiungere il mare, ci concderemo una cena romantica e lasceremo New Milton per raggiungere Brighton (la nostra penultima meta) passando per il Castello di Arundel.

Welcome back my lovelies :)
The daily updates on our UK roadtrip is back and in today's post + vlog we'll have a walk in the forest around the treehouse to reach the ocean, we'll have a romantic dinner and we'll leave New Milton to reach Brighton (our second last destination), stopping at the Arundel Castel.

Tuesday August 16th 2016 -  Walking in the forest

Quale posto migliore per rilassarsi se non una favolosa casa sull'albero immersa nella foresta?
Nessun impegno da rispettare, niente piani prestabiliti, praticamente un sogno ad occhi aperti :)
Nella nostra giornata di relax passeggiamo fra gli alberi seguendo il percorso che porta al mare, godendoci il silenzio quasi irreale.
Visitiamo il piccolo castello di Highcliffe, poltriamo sulla terrazza leggendo un libro e lasciamo che le ore passino senza pensieri, concdendoci un aperitivo al tramonto ed una cena romantica.

There's no better place to relax than a treehouse in the midth of the forest. Nothing to worry about, no plans to follow, basically a dream come true :)
In our chilled day we simply walk in the forest following the path that leads to the sea enjoying the silence, we visit the tiny Highcliffe Castle, we lay on the terrace rwading a book and we let the time fly by, treating ourselves with a glass of wine at sunset and a romantic dinner.

Wednesday August 17th 2016 -  Arundel Castle and Brighton

E' tempo di lasciare la nostra amata casa sull'albero e rimettersi in strada per raggiungere la tappa successiva: Brighton.

Come in ogni roadtrip che si rispetti però le soste intermedie sono fondamentali e noi scegliamo di visitare il castello di Arundel, nel West Sussex, una costruzione medievale perfettamente ristrutturata che ci lascia a bocca aperta.

Non solo il castello è delizioso, con i suoi giardini fioriti, le fontane, gli orti e le sale riccamente decorate, ma Arundel in generale è una cittadina da visitare :)

It's time to leave our beloved treehouse and get back on the car to reach our next destination: Brighton.

Anyway it won't be a true roadtrip without the inbetween stops and we choose to visit the lovely Arundel Castel, a perfectly kept medieval bulding located in West Sussex.

The Castle is trurly beautiful, with its gardens, fountains and richly decorated rooms, as much as Arundel its self, a cute little village that I recommend you to visit :)

Brighton ci accoglie al tramonto, poetica e decadente con il suo vecchio molo e le giostre sulla spiaggia.

Ci concediamo una cena di pesce per festeggiare l'arrivo e finisce così un'altra giornata piena di emozioni.

Brighton welcomes us at sunset, poetic and slightly decandent, with its old pier and the carousel on the beach.

We treat ourselves with a yummy dinner to celebrate the arrival and that's the end of an other eventful day.

Come sempre vi lascio al vlog di questi due giorni e vi aspetto domani per l'ultimo capitolo del nostro diario di viaggio.
