Handmade cat on an hot air baloon birthday card - Biglietto di compleanno fatto a mano con gatto in mongolfiera
Ciao a tutti e benvenuti ad un nuovo giovedì card, l'appuntamento dedicato ai miei biglietti di auguri fatti a mano.
Ho realizzato la card di oggi per la piccola Nora che ha compiuto gli anni in Agosto e volevo che fosse vivace, estiva e piena di dettagli.
Ecco il mio risultato!
Hi and welcome to a new card thrusday, the segment dedicated to my handmade cards,
I created today's card for little Nora, who celebrated her birthday in August and I wanted it to be bright, summery and full of details. Here ias my result!
Ho usato come base un biglietto in cartoncino bianco al quale ho arrotondato gli angoli, ho poi ritagliato nelle giuste dimensioni l'immagine con il cielo e le nuvolette (che ho scaricato dal web) e l'ho incollata come sfondo.
Per creare la mongolfiera ho disegnato un template a computer composto da 4 parti, un tondo, due ovali e la cesta (trovate il link per scaricarlo gratuitamente nella lista dei materiali più in basso), l'ho stampato su cartoncino, ritagliato ed assemblato inserendo del fil di ferro sul retro.
Il gattino fa parte del set di timbri 3 amigos di Mama Elephant (che ho modificato in Photoshop per adattarlo alla card, trovate il tutorial su come farlo qui)
Ho assemblato la card incollando i cuoricini perforati e la mongolfiera con adesivi dimensionali, ho aggiunto il banner con la scritta, un adesivo in feltro a forma di uccellino e le lettere chipboard a comporre il nome della festeggiata.
Come ultimo dettaglio ho applicato del Glossy Accent sulla mongolfiera e sul gattino.
I used a white cardstock folded card as a base and I rounded the corners, then I cut to the right size the background picture of the sky with clouds (that I downloaded from the web) .
To create the hot air baloon I designed a template made of 4 parts, a circle, 2 ovals and the basket (you can download it for free here), I printed it on cardstock, cut it out and assembled it adding some iron wire on the back.
The cat is from Mama Elephant 3 amigos set, but I modified it in Photoshop to fit the card (you'll find the tutorial to do that here)
I assembled the card adhering the hot air baloon and the punched hearts using dsimensional stickers, then I added the banner with the sentiment, a felt sticker in the shape of a bird and the chipboard letter to spell Nora's name.
As last detail I coated the hot air baloon and the cat with Glossy Accent.
