Colosseo, Caravaggio e ritorno a casa - Colosseum,  Caravaggio and travel back home

Visitare Roma e non passare ad ammirare il Colosseo è quasi un sacrilegio, anche se ci si è già stati mille volte, anche se l'area trabocca di turisti peggio di una tonnara, anche se prima di partire avevi pensato "va beh, questa volta no".
Perchè, nonostante tutto quando, dopo aver percorso i fori imperiali, arriva quell'attimo in cui lo sguardo si posa sui suoi archi imponenti è sempre un'emozione.
Perchè le meraviglie restano tali anche dopo averle viste, riviste e straviste.

Visiting Rome without paying a visit to the Colosseum sounds like a nonsense, even if you've been there a thousend times, even if it's full of tourists, even if before you left home you thought "this time I won't".
Because, regardless of everything, after you walked through the imperial forums, the moment your eyes meet its huge arches is always exciting.
Because the wonders are amazing even if you saw them a thousend times.

Poi arriva il momento di partire e ti trovi alla stazione, carico di valigie, con gli occhi ancora pieni di bellezza e pensi che Roma non smetterà mai di emozionarti ed una gioia sapere di averla lì a portata di mano, pronta ad accoglierti.

Then it's time to leave and while you reach the station, loaded with your lugagges and with your eyes still full of beauty you start thinking that Rome will never stop exciting you and it's a joy knowing that it's there, ready to host you.

Roma ci ha regalato 4 giorni di pura felicità che spero di aver almeno in parte trasferito con questi posts e vlogs.
