The serie of posts+vlogs about our 4 days in Rome keeps going, are you ready to stroll with us in Porta Portese market, to enjoy a lovely roman lunch in a typical Osteria on the Tiber, to visit Santa Maria del Popolo and to watch some amazing fireworks on Castel Sant'Angelo? Chi non ricorda il grande classico di Claudio Baglioni? Porta Portese di domenica mattina è un appuntamento da non perdere, con la sua varia umanità, i banchi colmi di qualsiasi mercanzia, anche la più improbabile, con i venditori che sbraitano e le signore che si spintonano per accaparrarsi il pezzo migliore.

Porta Portese è un'icona romana che vale di certo una visita!

Porta Portese market on a sunday morning is something to be experienced, with its weird humans, the stals fulls of goods, even the most unlikely ones, with the sellers screaming to get customers and the ladies fighting on the best pieces. Porta Portese is a roman icon and it's surely worth a visit!

Poco distante da Porta Portese, sul Lungotevere Testaccio, c'è una piccola trattoria tipica, lo Scopettaro, non fatevi ingannare dalle apparenze, perchè seduta ai loro tavoli ho assaggiato una delle migliori amatriciane della mia vita :)

Not far from Porta Portese, on Lungotevere Testaccio, there's a little typical Trattoria, lo Scopettaro, don't be fooled by the appearances, because at their tables I enjoyed one of the best amatriciana of my life :)

 

I fuochi d'artificio su Castel Sant'Angelo sono uno degli spettacoli più emozionanti che abbia mai visto,  il Tevere si trasforma in uno specchio mentre San Pietro fa da sfondo e la tiepida sera romana si illumina di magia. 

The fireworks on Castel Sant'Angelo are one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, the Tiber river turns into a mirror while San Pietro stands on the back and the warm roman evening magically lights up .
