Il protagonista del giornio è Egon Schiele, precoce e prolifico artista viennese, autore di affascinanti opere d'arte, prematuramente scomparso all'età di 28 anni.
La vita di Schiele è circondata da un'aura mistica e la sua produzione, altamente introspettiva, trasmette un senso di disagio e passione che non possono lasciare indifferenti.
Good morning and welcome to our weekly post on the accessories inspired by the iconic figures of the 20th century.
Today's protagonist is Egon Schiele, precocious and prolific viennese artist, creator of fascinating masterpieces, prematurely deceased at the age of 28.
Schiele's life is filled with a mystical aura and his artistic production, highly introspectic, conveys a sense of pain and passion which cannot be ignored.
Le pose disarticolate, lo sguardo vacuo ed inquietante che caratterizzano molte delle opere di Schiele si ritrovano anche nella maggior parte dei suoi ritratti fotografici permeati da un'atmosfera irreale.
Per questa parure composta da orecchini, anello e spilla, ho scelto due immagini assolutamente iconiche risalenti al 1914 che raffigurano l'artista in una sua classica posa innaturale mentre fissa lo spettatore con espressione vuota.
In the majority of Schiele's photografic portraits we find the same disarticulated poses and blank yet disturbing looks which characterize many of his artworks.
For this parure made of earrings, brooch and ring I chose two absolutely iconic pictures from 1914 displaying the artist in his classic akward pose, staring at the viewer with a blank expression.
Restando fedele alla linea di tutta la serie anche in questo caso ho scelto delle montature semplici che convogliano l'attenzione verso l'immagine contenuta.
Per gli orecchini ho utilizzato dei piccoli pendenti tondi in bronzo anticato con copertura in vetro bombato.
Following the minimal line of the whole serie I chose a simple vintage copper pendant matched with a domed glass cover.

Per la spilla ho scelto unamontatura ovale all'interno della quale ho inserito l'immagine cercando di dare massimo risalto alla posa.
For the brooch I chose a big oval base trying to make the awkard hand position stand out.

Per l'anello ho scelto di ripetere la forma tonda degli orecchini utilizzando l'immagine inserita nella spilla in modo da creare una continuità all'interno della parure.
For the ring I chose the same rond shape of the earrings using the picture placed in te brooch in order to create homogeneity in the parure.
