u.s. and mexico adventures
Rieccomi dopo quasi un mese di assenza dal blog, vi sono mancata almeno un po'? :)
Com'è andata la vostra Estate?
Lo confesso, la mia è stata fenomenale; per la prima volta da anni sono riuscita a ritagliarmi 20 giorni pieni di viaggio (uno dei benefici del matrimonio immagino :P) e sono stati 20 giorni indimenticabili!
Li ho trascorsi a spasso fra Stati Uniti e Messico, in un itinerario che prima di partire mi era sembrato forse un po' esagerato, ma che invece si è rivelato perfetto.
San Francisco, Yosemite, Monterey, Los Angeles, Città del Messico, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon e Boston...un bel po' di kilometri macinati in aereo, autobus, macchina, cable car, ma soprattutto a piedi, scorrazzando in ogni città, godendo dell'inebriante sensazione di trovarsi in luoghi sconosciuti, tutti da scoprire.
Viaggiare resta senza dubbio una delle esperienze più entusiasmanti che la vita possa regalarci, perchè ogni viaggio ci cambia un po', aggiunge qualcosa a quello che eravamo, crea spessore, ci trasforma.
Questi ultimi 20 giorni mi hanno regalato mille emozioni diverse e mi hanno permesso di realizzare uno dei miei sogni più grandi (visitare i luoghi di Frida Kahlo).
Credo che il modo migliore per raccontare questa avventura sia tramite le immagini, ma soprattutto attraverso i vlog che ho registrato ogni giorno (e che ho postato su youtube ogni sera).

How was your summer?
I have to admitt mine was amazing; for the first time in years I managed to spend 20 full days travelling (one of the benefits of getting married I guess!) and it was an unforgettable journey.
I strolled around U.s. and Mexico following an itinerary I thought could be a bit too full, but I had to prove me wrong, because everything worked out just perfect.
San Francisco, Yosemite, Monterey, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and Boston...a lot of miles travelled by plane,bus, car, taxi, cable car and most of all by feet, walking for hours, enjoying the amazing feeling of new places to discover.
Travelling is for sure one of the most powerfull experiences life can offer us, because every journey turns us into something different, adds something to what we used to be, makes us deeper, transforms us.
This long travel filled me with so many different emotions and allowed me to make one of my biggest dreams come true (visiting Frida Kahlo's places).
I think that the best way to tell this adventure is through the images and the daily vlogs I posted every evening while travelling around.
