Con questo post voglio dare ufficialmente il benvenuto alla mia nuova cuginetta Annalaura che da ieri mattina è entrata a far parte della nostra bislacca famiglia.

Ovviamente non ho resistito alla tentazione di creare un biglietto su misura per celebrare il lieto evento :)
With this post I want to officially welcome my new cousine's daughter Annalaura who became yesterday part of our weird family.

I obviously couldn't help creating a card to celebrate the happy event :)
Per la realizzazione di questa card mi sono ispirata ad un lavoro di Wendy Nasmith (potete vedere l'originale qui); mi sono immediatamente innamorata del set di timbri digitali "on the line" di Lindsay's stamp stuff, l'idea del filo per stendere mi ha conquistata - dovevo averlo!
Il bello dei digital stamps è che sono acquistabili on line e in un click diventano nostri :)

Seguendo il tutorial di Wendy ho stampato su cartoncino neutro l'immagine in modo da creare un riferimento, ho poi nuovamente stampato il tutto su patterned papers per realizzare i vari dettagli a rilievo.
Ho incollato le parti sul modello di base con sticker dimensionale e le ho impreziosite con glossy accent.
Per dare più movimento ho aggiunto alcune farfalle coperte di glitter e dei motivi a penna gel bianca.
Ho scritto a mano il sentiment con penna gel e per il nome ho utilizzato delle lettere adesive Toga ricoperte di glossy accent.
I've got the inspiration for this card from a work by Wendy Nasmith (you can see the original here ); I immediately fell in love with the "on the line" digital stamp set designed by Lindsay's stamp stuff and I had to have it!
The good thing about digistamps is that you can purchase them in one click and that's what I did (if you want it too you can find it on www.mygrafico.com here )
Following Wendy's tutorial I printed the set on a kraft cardstock to use it as a base, I then printed it again on patterned papers to create the layered details.
I adhered the parts on the base with dimensional stickers and I embellished them with glossy accent.
To add more interest I used some punched butterflies with glitter on and I drew some doodles with white gel pen.
I handwrote the sentiment with gel pen and used some Toga letter stickers (with glossy accent on) for the name.
Come di consueto ho decorato anche l'interno creando una base colorata con patterned paper ed incollando un centrino in carta con un doppio strato di tondi sovrapposti. Ho colorato ad acquerello il timbro digitale parte del set "Baby stamp" (creato da Zenware design e disponibile su www.mygrafico.com qui ), una volta asciutto l'ho ricoperto di glossy accent ed ho aggiunto il nastrino rosa.
Il sentiment e il disegno dei piedini sono parte del set di clear stamps "it's a girl" di Stampendous, entrambi embossati. I due cuoricini fanno parte del set utilizzato sulla prima pagina.
As usual I decorated the inside of the card too creating a colorfull base with patterned paper and adhering a paper doily with 2 layers of cardstock. I watercoloured the digistamp from the "Baby stamp" set (designed by Zenware and available at www.mygrafico.com here ); once it dried out I covered it with glossy accent and added the pink ribbon.
The stamped and embossed sentiment + image are from Stampendous "it's a girl" set, while the 2 hearts are from the same set used on the front.
