Roger Daltrey's Tommy tour 2012 (a dream come true)

My visceral love for the Who started in the winter of 1990.
I was 16, that silly age when you think you're a grown up.
The mixtape in my boyfriend's car radio, the crackle of the magnetic tape that rolls and then, BAM, there it is Pete Townshend guitar on "I can't explain" intro...tan tada ta da ta, tan tada ta da ta.
It was a sudden flash, everything I used to listen before sounded inconsistent and boring.
From that moment on the Who became the soundtrack of my life.
Falling in love when 16 with a band who broke up nearly 10 years before has been incredibly painfull.
I spent the afternoons of my youth listening to old vynils dreaming to travel back in time.
I imagined to be at the Marquee in London in 1964 among those 40 lucky people who saw their first official gig, I dremt to wake up in Woodstock in 1969 under the stage.
When I was 17 I went to Brigthon and spent the days on the Pier listening to Quadrophenia on my walkman.
I obsessively collected every relic connected to the band: albums, bootlegs, videos, pictures, books, posters.
For decades I compulsively dremt to see them perform live, knowing that it was more and more unlikely.

Then, in a totally unexpected way, my secret wish became true.
When, 2 days ago, I found out by chance that Roger Daltrey was going to play "Tommy" live in Turin my heart skipped a beat.
In 10 minutes I ran home fearing I was out of time, insulting myself for not knowing about this gig before.
How could I know of something like that just 48 hours before??
Life is amazing because out of the blue it offers treasures like the confirm click on the ticket purchasing site granting me 2 seats in the 3rd row. That sound was the most wonderfull of the world.
So there I am, a few steps away from one of the people who inspired me the most, nearly out of the time limit, but there, with tears in my eyes screaming every lyric, full of that undescribable euphoria that only a 22 years long dream coming true can give.
I can't describe the feelings I had when Roger appeared on stage but I can say without a doubt that yesterday, 12 March 2012, has been one of the most emotioning days of my life.
