Le vacanze sono finite.
Neanche il tempo di abituarsi all'idea e ci si ritrova di nuovo alla scrivania dell'ufficio!
Se non altro sono riuscita a trarre il meglio da ogni giorno e anche l'ultima settimana, trascorsa a casa, è stata ricca di avvenimenti, come dimostra il video qui sotto :)
So the holidays are over. I was just starting to get used to so much free time and zac! I'm back to my office desk! At least I made the best of every day, even the last week, which I spent at home, has been full of emotions, as you can see from the vid below :)
Ora veniamo al lato creativo... Ho già accennato al fatto che adoro le collane grandi? Ebbene si, amo le collane importanti, quelle che da sole trasformano una mise semplice in spettacolare! Avevo l'impressione che alla mia "collezione" mancassero dei modelli di questo genere, sono quindi corsa subito ai ripari :) Per il primo esperimento ho scelto dei tenui colori pastello per creare un insieme tra il vintage ed il romantico. Ho realizzato i fiori in tessuto, abbinandoli al pizzo in cotone ed alle grandi perle, il tutto collegato alla catena in bronzo anticato. Il risultato è perfetto su un vestitino un po' retro :) Now let's get to the creative part!Did I mention I love huge necklaces? Oh yes, I'm in love with those big necklaces, which may turn a simple mise in spectacular!I had the impression that my "collection" was missing some of those models and that was unacceptable; I had to do something about it :)For the first try I chose some light pastel colors to create a vintage and romatic ensemble.I made the flowers of a light fabric and matched them with the cotton lace and some big pearls, everything linked to a copper chain.The result is perfect on a slightly retro gown.
Gli altri due modelli hanno un gusto decisamente più moderno. Sono partita da un mucchio di cerniere che avevo messo da parte tempo fa. Allora avevo realizzato delle spille e dei bracciali, questa volta volevo provare qualcosa di diverso. Ho cucito le cerniere formando dei motivi irregolari che ho poi unito collegandoli alla catena. Ed ecco il risultato! The other two models are definitely more modern.I started with a bunch of zippers I set aside some months ago. At that time I used them to make brooches and bangles, this time I wanted to do something different.I sewed them to create irregular shapes and then I linked them together and to the chain.Here is the result!
Il secondo modello è una variante in blu del primo. Il bello di queste collane è che sono davvero pezzi unici, perchè è praticamente impossibile farne due uguali! The second one is a variation in blue of the first.The cool thing about these necklaces is that they really are unique pieces, as it is nearly impossible to make two identical ones!
