Recentemente ho realizzato una serie di rose in tessuto utilizzando questo tutorial per fiori di carta di Jenniesbarn.
Recently I made some fabric roses using this Jenniesbarn tutorial for paper flowers.
I fiori realizzati con questa semplice tecnica sono davvero belli e si possono usare in mille modi diversi.
Possono ad esempio trasformare una card in qualcosa di speciale :)
Questa mattina cercavo ispirazione per un biglietto a tema matrimoniale; trafficando con i materiali li ho riscoperti e mi sono sembrati perfetti nel loro rosso acceso.
Li ho abbinati con l'elegante pattern paper turchese della collezione Hello Luscious di Basic Grey (una delle mie preferite in assoluto!!).
Volevo creare una card non scontata quindi ho deciso di non scegliere il bianco come colore di base, ma il nero del cartoncino e delle chipboard letters; trovo che l'insieme di questi colori sia perfetto, romantico, ma non banale :)
Ho aggiunto la scritta Happily everafter stampata su vellum ed il nastro in tinta della linea Dear Lizzy di American Crafts ed ecco la card finita!
The flowers made using this easy technique are really beautiful and can be used in many different projects.
For example they can turn a regular card into something special :)
This morning I was looking for inspiration to create a wedding card and searching thoroughly among the scrapbook goodies I found them out and thought they were just perfect in their bright red.
I matched them with the elegant patterned paper from Basic Grey Hello Luscious collection (one of my favourite ones!!)
I wanted a non conventional card so I decided to avoid white and chose black as back colour for the cardstock, matched with the chipboard letters of the sentiment; I think these colours together are amazing, romantic, but definitely non conventional :)
I added the vellum printed with the Happily everafter wish and the ribbon by American Crafts Dear Lizzy collection and here is the finished card!
Ho decorato l'interno utilizzando lo stesso pattern paper dell'esterno per dare un tocco in più.
I decorated the inside using the same pattern paper of the front to add a final touch.
