Handmade Lion in the forest birthday card - Biglietto di compleanno fatto a mano con leone nella foresta
Come ogni giovedì ritorna l'appuntamento con i miei biglietti di auguri fatti a mano e chiudo la stagione con la card che ho creato per il compleanno della piccola Susanna.
Volevo che fosse vivace, divertente e unica, proprio come la festeggiata, così ho scelto il tema giungla utilizzando il timbro carnival cupcakes di Mama Elephant e delle foglie tropicali. Ecco il risultato!
It's thursday and I'm ready to share a new handmade card, the last one of this season, created to celebrate little Susanna's birthday.
I wanted it to be bubbly, fun and unique just like the birthday girl, so I went for a jungle theme using Mama Elephant Carnical Cupcakes stamps set and tropical leaves. Here is the result!
Per creare questa card ho creato a pc il fronte della card con le scritte ed ho ritagliato un grande foro tondo al centro.
Ho poi scaricato da internet delle illustrazioni di foglie tropicali e le ho stampate nelle giuste dimensioni, ho modificato e colorato a pc il timbro di Mama Elephant in modo da poterlo stampare nella giuste dimensioni (se volete vedere come ho fatto trovate il tutorial sul mio blog qui)
In fine ho montato la card incollando il cartoncino rosa a pois fuscia al di sotto del cartoncino bianco con il foro, che ho aggiunto usando degli adesivi dimensionali. Ho inserito il leone con il cappellino da festa e tutto attorno le foglie tropicali.
Per finire ho usato del Glossy Accent per rendere lucide alcune parti.
To create this card I designed the front on my pc adding the sentiment, then I printed it on cardstock and cut out a big circle in the center.
I downloaded from the internet the tropical leaves illustrations, I printed them on cardstock in the right size, I adjusted the size and colored the Mama Elephant stamp in Photoshop (if you want to see how I did, check my tutorial here).
Then I assembled the card layering the front rectangle with the central hole on top of the pink polka dot patterned paper using some dimensional stickers. I added the lion with the party hat and the tropical leaves all around.
As last step I used Glossy Accent to accent some parts.
