Mr & Mrs handmade wedding card - Biglietto per matrimonio fatto a mano
Tempo fa mi è stato commissionato da un'amica un biglietto per un matrimonio, così mi sono messa a cercare delle idee originali, perchè volevo che la mia card fosse un po' diversa dal solito.
Poi ho avuto un'intuizione ed ho deciso di giocare con colori vivaci come il verde acido ed il fucsia e di rappresentare i due sposi in modo schematico, utilizzando del cartoncino bianco e nero ed un centrino per dolci. Ecco il risultato!
A while ago a friend of mine asked me to create a card for a wedding, so I started to look for a new idea because I wanted it to be different from my usual ones.
Then I had an intuition and I decided to match some bright colors (like acid green and fuscia) and to portray the newlyweds by using white and black cardstock together with a paper doily to create their clothes. Here is the result!
Per prima cosa ho incollato su un biglietto in cartoncino ripiegato il patterned paper verde acido a creare uno sfondo.
Poi dal cartoncino nero ho ricavato la silhouette dell'abito dello sposo praticando un taglio nella parte alta e ripiegando le estremità per creare il risvolto della giacca.
Ho inserito un cartoncino bianco al di sotto ottenendo la camicia, ho ritagliato il papillon dal cartoncino fucsia ed ho disegnato i bottoni con una penna a rilievo nera.
Per creare il vestito della sposa ho invece ritagliato la forma del corpetto da un cartoncino bianco con pois embossati, mentre ho ottenuto la gonna ripiegando un centrino per dolci. Come ultimo dettaglio ho annodato un nastro fucsia in vita ed ho incollato le due silhouettes sulla card.
Per il sentiment ho creato a pc un banner in cartoncino bianco con la scritta MR. & MRS. (portando la & a rilievo con adesivo dimensionale) e ho usato un timbro della Lawn fawn per la scritta happily ever after che ho ritagliato ed applicato più in basso.
Ho terminato la card perforando dei cuoricini dal cartoncino rosa, applicandoli sulla card con adesivo dimensionale ed aggiungendo del Glossy Accent qui e là.
Semplice e vivace!
First of all I adhered an acid green patterned paper on a white folded card to create a cool background.
Then I cut the groom's outfit out of a black cardstock, I created a V cut on the neckline and I folded the edges to get the jacket lapels. I placed a white cardstock underneath to get a shirt, I cut the papillon out of fuscia cardstock and I drew the buttons using a 3D black pen.
To create the bride's dress I cut the corsage shape out of a white polka dots embossed cardstock, while I folded a paper doily to get the skirt. As last touch I tied a fuscia ribbon at the waistline and I adhered both silhouettes on the card.
For the sentiment I created at my pc a banner stating MR. & MRS. (bringing the & en relief using dimensional stickers) and I used a Lawn Fawn Stamp for the happily ever after part that I cut and adhered below the banner.
I finished up the card by punching some pink hearts, adhering them on dimensional stickers and applying some Glossy Accent here and there.
Simple yet vibrant!
