The honeymoon vlog/blog post day 6

Buon sabato a tutti.
Siamo arrivati all'ultimo dei 6 post di viaggio da Istanbul.
Good morning everyone!
We reached the 6th and last travel post from Istanbul.

Oggi prenderemo un battello fino a Kadikoy, nella parte asiatica della città, dove ci perderemo fra i colori del mercato e gusteremo uno dei migliori pranzi di tutta la settimana al Ciya Sofrasi Restaurant.
Riprenderemo un battello e ci dirigeremo al Dolmabahçe Palace, ex residenza imperiale.
Poi, per non farci mancare niente, prenderemo l'ultima delle tre funicolari, che collega Kabatas a Piazza Taksim.
Non ci sarà tempo se non per un viaggio in taxi verso l'aereoporto...e via di nuovo a bordo sulla rotta di casa, un po' malinconici, ma pieni di favolosi ricordi.
Today we will sail on a boat to Kadikoy, on the asian side of the city, where we will stroll around a colorfull market and have one of the best meals ever at the Ciya Sofrasi Restaurant.
We will sail to the Dolmabahçe Palace, an ex imperial residence.
In order not to miss anything we will jump on the last of the three funiculars which connects Kabatas to Taksim Square.
Then there will only be time for a taxi ride to airport...and back we will be on the plane, sad, but full of beautiful memories.







Come avrete intuito consiglio a tutti vivamente di visitare Istanbul.
E' una città unica, vivace, coinvolgente, piena di contrasti, dove Oriente ed Occidente si fondono a creare melting pot affascinante.
Vale la pena di andarci anche solo per gustare la favolosa cucina turca, per passeggiare senza meta, per godersi la brezza mentre si naviga sul Bosforo oppure, come mi suggeriva un'amica prima di partire, per trascorrere qualche ora a leggere nei giardini di una moschea :)
Quindi se siete indecisi sulla meta per il vostro prossimo viaggio prendete nota ed inserite Istanbul in cima alla lista :))

 As you may have understood I highly reccomend visiting Istanbul.
It's a unique city, lively, absorbing, full of contrasts, where West and East create a fascinating melting pot.
It's worth visiting it even just for the amazing food, to stroll around, to enjoy the breeze while sailing on the Bosphorus or, as a friend told me before I left, to spend some hours reading in a mosque garden :)
So, if you are looking for a destination for your next travel ,take a note and put Istanbul on the top pf the list :))
