Birthday card for Cecilia
Niente rende evidente il passare del tempo quanto veder crescere i bambini.
Domani la mia "nipotina" Cecilia compirà 6 anni e a me sembra sia passato un secondo da quel 2 di Giugno in cui l'ho tenuta in braccio per la prima volta.
Ricordo perfettamente quanto ero impacciata e nervosa nel sorreggerla mentre lei mi scrutava incuriosita con i suoi occhietti ancora stropicciati.
Il tempo passa, non c'è dubbio, e vederla ora già ragazzina mi commuove.
Nothing makes more evident the passing of time than seeing the babies grow.
Tomorrow my "nephew" Cecilia will turn 6 and I feel like it was just a minute ago when I held her in my arms for the first time.
I perfectly remember how awkward and nervous I was while holding her and how emotioning it was to look into her curious eyes.
Times runs fast, there's no doubt, and watch how she grew and became a young girl really moves me.
Per festeggiare il suo compleanno ho creato una card vivace e divertente.
Sono partita dall'idea di utilizzare un'immagine che rispecchiasse Cecilia ed il timbro digitale di whimsie doodles mi è sembrato davvero perfetto.

Ho scelto come base un patterned paper vivace della linea Sidewalks di October afternoon ed ho creato una coccarda per dare rilievo al timbro digitale utilizzando delle pirottine in carta per dolci.
Ho colorato il timbro con Copic markers ed ho aggiunto del glitter sulle ali.
Ho poi inserito un ritaglio di cartoncino bianco sul quale ho applicato dei cuoricini a rilievo.
Per concludere ho utilizzato un grosso nastro e le stickers letters in tessuto di Prima Marketing.
Ecco il risultato!
To celebrate her birthday I created a vivid and funny card.
I started with the idea of finding a digital stamp which could reflect Cecilia and as soon as I saw Whimsie Doodles Beeatrice digistamp I knew it was perfect.

I chose a patterned paper from October Afternoon Sidewalk collection as background and I created a rosette with cupcake papers and a paper doily as a base for the stamp.
I coloured the stamp with Copic Markers and added some stickles on the wings.
I placed a white cardstock pieces on the side and I adhered some punched hearts; as final touch I placed a huge ribbon and the fabric sticker letters from Prima Marketing.
Here is the result!
